Admissions RECOVERY REIMAGINED

Admission to Counterpoint Recovery

Beginning with Counterpoint Recovery is a simple and collaborative process. Our primary objective during the admissions process is to make sure we are the right fit for each individual and their support network. We understand the nuance of embarking or transitioning with unsure footing. Our promise is, at the very least, that we will provide valuable insight and encouragement and will work tirelessly to help every individual and/or family that contacts us, even if an issue such as primary diagnosis determines that Counterpoint Recovery isn’t the appropriate source for treatment.

Client Profile

Counterpoint Recovery treats men aged 18 years or older with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and their families. We are mastered in developmentally sound treatment for those we serve. While everyone we treat is unique, they are all dealing with the same complex disorder and the very specific issues that disorder manifests in their development process.

We understand that addiction often presents alongside significant co-occurring issues. While we are capable of assessing and treating many types of mental illness, Counterpoint Recovery specializes in treating individuals who have a primary diagnosis within the SUD spectrum.

Commonly Asked Questions

How does the admissions process work at Counterpoint Recovery?

The admissions process at Counterpoint Recovery is designed to be straightforward and collaborative. Initially, we encourage potential clients and their families to reach out via phone or our online contact form. Our team will conduct a preliminary assessment to understand the individual's needs and circumstances. This step is crucial as it helps us determine if our services align with the individual's treatment goals.

What should I expect during my first visit to Counterpoint Recovery?

During your first visit to Counterpoint Recovery, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where your comfort is our priority. The initial visit typically involves a comprehensive assessment, where our team will gather information about your history, challenges, and treatment goals. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and express any concerns you may have. We believe in a collaborative approach, so your input is invaluable in shaping your treatment plan.

Can individuals with co-occurring mental health issues receive treatment at Counterpoint Recovery?

Yes, individuals with co-occurring mental health issues are welcome at Counterpoint Recovery. We understand that addiction often occurs alongside other mental health disorders, and our team is equipped to assess and address these complex issues. Our treatment approach is comprehensive, focusing not only on Substance Use Disorder but also on any underlying mental health conditions.

Our Medication Policy

Many individuals return home from higher levels of care while continuing on medications they perceive as safe. While abstinence and recovery are not universally defined, Counterpoint Recovery does not advocate for the use of medication assisted treatment (MAT). Our team will provide medication management where appropriate and determine if there are any conflicts with medications prior to admission to our programs.

Billing & Insurance

We understand the significant investment for individuals and their families when it comes to embarking on the road to recovery. Our billing advisory team works diligently with third-party billing providers to help families leverage insurance wherever possible. Insurance reimbursement can vary widely depending on an individual’s policy and allowable benefits. Our team will verify your insurance benefits and work with you accordingly.
